At our visit at the cimitery in Zurich-Fluntern where Anita Augspurg and Lida Gustava Heymann are buried, we remembered their last years they spent in exile in Zurich persecuted by Nazi terror.

And what a wonderful surpise 1 month later: The successful women’s strike in Switzerland, linked to a growing awarness raising about women’s impact in the political and social life and the comunication of 2 women equality representatives of the cities of Munich and Zurich made it possible: the stone is cleaned and re-newed – so that every visitor can read about these two pacifist struggeling all their life for peace , women’s rights and freedom.
